If
your goods are worth moving, they're worth insuring
Furniture Freighters take all the necessary care to ensure that
your goods arrive safely at your next destination. However, there
are a variety of circumstances in which a removalist is not liable
for any loss or damage to your goods. For these unforeseen circumstances,
we can arrange insurance on your behalf.
The Financial Services reform act requires that any moving company
offering insurance be it either “free” or otherwise MUST be appropriately
qualified and licenced. Furniture Freighters (NSW) is an authorized
representative of Aldridge & Street a division of Cowden
(VIC) Pty Ltd which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence
#245658. Our staff are authorised to give you general advice
pertaining to your removal and insurance. We have undertaken
the necessary training and have the documentation required by
ASIC.
Beware Shonky Insurance Salesmen!
Insurance on your move is optional. Firstly, check your existing

cover is provided there. If not, Furniture Freighters can organise
this for you.
To do this we will supply you with:

about the main features of the insurance offered.
